Khan Academy is a nonprofit founded by Sal Khan 🙋🏽‍♂️, with the mission to provide a free 💸, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. 🌏

What started as one man tutoring his cousin has grown into a 300 people organization. We’re a diverse team that has come together to work on an audacious mission: to provide a free world-class education for anyone, anywhere. We are developers 👓, teachers 👩🏼‍🏫, designers 🎨, strategists 🤔, scientists 🔬, and content specialists who passionately believe in inspiring the world to learn. A few great people can make a big difference 👣.

As the 1st and only Sr. Design Program Manager for the Design Team, I Established & iterated on team processes, tools, onboarding experience, and documentation for Product Design, UX Research, and Design Systems as the team scaled 2.5x (8 members to 24 members, including 5 Contractors) over 1 year period.

I examined 🧐, experimented 🧪, and measured improvements 📏 to our operational model and processes (e.g. automating tasks, improving workflows 🪷, developing repeatable methodologies). I played a leading role in project planning and design resourcing horizontally across Design team 💙.
