I Am, I Do
Like a corn which grows tall in the heat of summer, so do I soar in times of hardships.
Like a bird who flies tireless across many oceans, so do I constantly search for my purpose in life.
Like a train which sometimes breaks down, gets delayed, or cancelled, so am I not perfect⦠full with flaws and uncertainty.
Like a prince who is being groomed to take over a kingdom, so do I know that I am being prepared for something big in the future.
Like an ant next to an elephant, so do I realize how minuscule I am among behemoth galaxies.
Like a little boy who cries for new toys, so do I always yearn for new adventures.
Like a plant which roots itself firmer as it grows taller, so am I trying to stay humble as I get older in life.
Like a soldier who dedicates his/her life to many people, so do I respect those who give their selves to help others in need, yet invisible to society.
Like a lion who kills to live, so do I sin and pursue earthly desires to fulfill my wants and needs.
Like an eagle soaring high and not worrying what tomorrow brings, so do I trust that God will always provide and lift me up high.
Like a dog wagging its tail with excitement, so am I excited to experience what life has in store for me.
