This Same Body of a Man

So what if my hand is holding a frying pan instead of a basketball 

Or if my toenails are nicely trimmed

Or the fact that I spend more time than most men grooming myself

Or that I’m constantly being sensitive to feelings more than logic

All in this same body of a man

So what if looking good and skin health is important to me

Or the many times I squeal at the sight of a cockroach or running away like a little girl when a bee buzzes near me

Or that I love dating reality tv show and the fact that my feminine energy supersedes my masculine energy when I’m around others

Or that I like Mars more than Venus

All in this same body of a man

What defines a man is not a measure of masculinity

Or diminishing and shaming femininity 

No society or other person should define labels what a man should or should not be
